Mayor's Update: July 25, 2011
This is the time of year when Cottage and Community Ratepayer Associations are conducting their Annual General Meetings. Please keep me informed of these meeting dates as I find these meetings to be very informative and I enjoy learning about the issues that are unique to each of the various communities. I am sure that all Members of Council would appreciate being made aware of the dates of these meetings so I ask everyone involved with the associations to please be sure to keep us informed of your activities in order that all Members of Council can have the opportunity to participate.
The municipality has a busy agenda this year and the Annual General Meetings are an excellent venue to bring the community together for a constructive dialogue. As a simple example of community service, the township provides certificates for milestone birthdays or anniversaries when requested. I, or any member of council, will be happy to present these certificates on your special occasion. Please make your request through the municipal office or one of your council members.

Cruise night at the Buckhorn Community Centre resumed on May 26th.
The Buckhorn Farmers and Craft Market
The Buckhorn Farmers and Craft Market runs every Tuesday, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
New this year the Buckhorn Farmers and Craft Market has moved to the Buckhorn Community Centre Parking Lot and Building.
