Payment Options

Online Credit Card:

The Municipality is pleased to offer our ratepayers the option of paying their property tax bills online by credit card. Paymentus Corporation is a third party secure automated payment service that accepts MasterCard and VISA.

Paymentus will charge a 2.65% service fee for each transaction.

You can pay your bill anytime, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Click the button link to be redirected to Paymentus Corporation's secure website or pay your tax bill by dialing 1-855-288-4083 to call a secure automated telephone payment system, powered by Paymentus Corporation.

  • You will require your property assessment roll numer in the upper left hand of your tax bill.
  • The balance owed on your bill
  • Your credit card number including security code on the back of the card.
  • An email address to receive an electronic confirmation of your transaction

Pre-Authorized Payment Plans

  • Pre-authorized Payment Plans - Call, visit or download the Preauthorized Payment Options for Property Taxes here.
  • Please note that we now have 2 withdrawal date options for the 10 monthly payments: the 15th of the month or the 30th or you can still have the total of an instalment amount withdrawn on the due date (four (4) times per year). If you are currently on P.A.P and would like to change your withdrawal date option please contact our office at 705-738-3800, ext. 232

Online Banking

  • Internet or telephone banking. Please contact your financial institution to set up.
  • At most Financial Institutions - please allow 2 weeks processing time if paying by this method.


  • Mail a cheque or money-order to: 701 County Road 36, Box 820, Bobcaygeon, ON, K0M 1A0
  • In person at the Administration Office, 701 County Road 36 by cash, cheque, money order or Interac. There is also a drop slot at the front door upper level for after hours. Post dated cheques are also accepted.



Property Tax Arrears

If your property taxes are falling behind or your situation has changed making your property taxes difficult to keep up please contact our Tax Office and discuss how we can help.

We are available to assist you in determining a payment plan that will work with your financial situation. 

A tax penalty/interest is applied to property taxes at the rate of 1.25%.
