Annual Family Heritage Day Celebration!

Start Heritage Day on Saturday, February 18th at the Buckhorn Community Centre with a pancake breakfast and be prepared to enjoy an entire day of activities.  You may learn how to build a dry stone wall, throw a pot on a potter's wheel, weave a shawl or operate a lathe that is 800 years old.  These activities are representative of just a few of our many exhibitors who will be on hand.  Heritage Day will offer something for young and old alike.  Pony rides and outdoor rink activities, weather permitting, will be a hit with the young people so be sure to pack the skates and helmets in your car.  A warm room will be available for anyone who needs to take the chill out before returning to enjoy the great outdoors.  The food court will tickle your taste buds and a hamburger lunch with all the trimmings including fried onions and mushrooms will keep you going for the rest of the day.  If you just want to sit and be entertained, our list of entertainers is the best yet!  Join us on February 18th for this special event and see what your community has to offer.
