The Public Works Department is responsible for many things that impact our ratepayers in their daily lives. We are responsible for approximately 307 kilometres of both hard surface and gravel roads throughout the Township, as well as winter (snowploughing, sanding, salting) and summer maintenance, signage, construction of new roads and rebuilding old roads to today's standards. We also maintain Township park areas, operate water supply systems for several community developments, as well as maintain culverts and operate landfill and transfer stations for Township waste management.
