Online Property Tax Payments
The Township of Galway-Cavendish and Harvey is pleased to add an additional payment option for customers wishing to use their credit card (Visa or MasterCard) to make property tax payments. The Township has partnered with Paymentus Corporation to bring you the convenience of paying by credit card. Paymentus Corporation is a third party automated payment service that accepts Visa and MasterCard.
Before accessing the service please be ready with:
- The 19-digit property tax roll number.
- The amount you want to pay on your bill.
- Your credit card.
To Access the service:
- Call toll free 1-855-288-4083 OR
- Click here and you will be transferred to a secure web page powered by our bill payment partner, Paymentus Corporation.
- Fill in all of the required fields.
- You will be asked to confirm payment of a convenience fee (2.95% of your payment amount).
- You will be provided with a confirmation number if the transaction is successful. You must provide an email address in order to use the on-line service in order to have a confirmation number forwarded to you. If you do not have access to e-mail, please use the secure automated telephone payment system noted above.

2012 Dog Tags are now available at the Municipal Office AND also at ALL Waste Transfer Sites during their normal hours of business. Tags are $12 until March 31, 2012 after which time they become $20. Residents are advised to get their dog tags early and take advantage of the price break. You can also pick up your annual Permit to Burn at the Waste Transfer Sites.
Peterborough County will be holding a Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Event on January 21, 2011. This is an opportunity to safely dispose of old electronics cluttering up your home. This event will be taking place at the following times and locations:
- 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (noon) at the Bobcaygeon Transfer Station
- 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Buckhorn Transfer Station
